Its been a rollercoaster of emotions for PR who were wondering what would happen to our beloved toy line. I am happy to announce that Hasbro has acquired the rights for the toys. This is massive news for all of us. Hasbro has a track record of making excellent and show accurate toys such as the Transformers line. The deal will be in effect from 2019 and they will do all the toys for the new seasons plus all the nostalgia stuff. I am excited for this hope you guys are as well

Saban and Bandai have enjoyed a strong bond over the last couple of years. Bandai has been responsible for providing us with PR toys and collectables from the show. This split will adversely spoil the plans of such beloved items as the Legacy collection. Both companies had this to say: After a successful 25-year partnership building the iconic action franchise, Power Rangers, Saban Brands and Bandai have mutually agreed not to renew their global Power Rangers master toy license agreement, effective April 2019. Bandai will continue to support Power Rangers, including the 2018 commemoration of the Power Rangers 25th anniversary and the current season, Super Ninja Steel. In addition, Bandai, through its partnership with Toei Company Ltd., will continue to exploit toy rights for the Super Sentai series, which has enjoyed over 40 years of success, in Japan and select other Asian territories. The most anticipated crossover event in the Boom universe, more details have come out concerning a new ranger! Ryan Parrot had this to say,"It’s a new Ranger with a familiar face…They will arrive in a way that allows for a very personal relationship with all of the Rangers. With the first eight issues of  Saban’s Go Go Power Rangers  I’ve been trying to do very small, character-based stories. And I wanted to make sure that, for Shattered Grid, bringing in this new Ranger wouldn’t just mean that I would have to side-step all of the storylines that I’ve been building. What was great was, when we came up with who they are, they could be brought in in a way that actually propelled the personal stories in a way that actually made them better!" Exciting news coming from Saban. They have announced the book Alien Encounters in Angel Grove which will feature all the monsters in the series with their biographies. This is a mist have for a person who grew up during the time of MMPR. The book will 224 pages, and is available in digital and paperback formats. One can pre-order the book here . I have exciting news concerning content on the blog. There are going to be exclusive post on the blog. The new exclusives are called The Round-up, Top 5 and Shattered Code.  The Round-up will have the latest news and my opinions on them. It will be posted weekly on Tuesday. Top 5 is posted every fortnight showcasing lists on different aspects of the PR lore. Shattered Code will focus on the comics and Legacy toys. With the imminent arrival of the Shattered Grid, Boom studios have started dropping more information about the event. The latest being the romoured debut of Finster Five who is Lord Drakkon right hand man. I am guessing he is the Finster of Drakkon's universe who was merged with Alpha after something happened to him. I can not wait to see him in all his glory. He is going to be a great addition to the cannon.
