Issue 26 MMPR

The Boom Studio comics have been a revelation for PR fans. There is so much hype and anticipation towards the Shattered Grid and it has delivered. The writers have done an excellent job of slowly introducing characters and fleshing them out.

The comic begins with the rangers trying to deal with the death of Tommy. Jason for the first time seems rattled by this. I can feel his pain, losing a friend is never an easy thing to do. The other rangers are trying to move on but the constant reminders are taking a toll on them. 

Lord Drakkon returns home to regroup before attacking again. the target seems to be the Samurai Rangers. Drakkon meets up with Finster 5 and the two embrace which was a shock to me. This Tommy did not seem to like anyone and this shows he has a human heart. The two discuss the possibility of getting new power for Drakkon and the process involved which can have severe effects on Drakkon. 

The next act sees the Samurai Rangers at the Shiba House training before Drakkon and his army attacks. The Samurai rangers are easily overwhelmed and taken prisoner except for Lauren who with the help of the MMPR  and Jen is able to escape.

Drakkon is able to absorb one of the Samurai Rangers power and becomes stronger. He gains a new look which looks bad-ass but  I think this will last a couple of issues until he attacks the next group of rangers. Drakkon is ruthless and is literally killing the whole PR universes but he does for sport. Honestly I do not want to see other Rangers die but the story is intriguing and I cant wait for the new comics.

Blog Update

This has been an amazing journey so far and i thank you for sticking with me and my irregular schedule of posting. This is now a thing of the past and i hope to provide relevant news and reviews on a regular basis. I am currently thinking of providing premium content and reviewing things other than Power Rangers such Kamen Rider.
