With the hype of Beast Morphers, Hasbro has been teasing us with little morsels of ranger goodness. With the announcement of the new game Battle For The Grid and the new toys, there is plenty that us the community has to be excited about. The toys that were shown at the toy fair were great and shows how much Hasbro is taking this seriously. Bandai dropped the ball during the last couple of months but overall I enjoyed the toys they gave us. I will include the pictures at the end of this. After nearly an eternity we are back. We will be returning to our normal schedule beginning from next week and all the promised shows, blogs and podcast are coming back to the network. This has been an amazing journey so far and i thank you for sticking with me and my irregular schedule of posting. This is now a thing of the past and i hope to provide relevant news and reviews on a regular basis. I am currently thinking of providing premium content and reviewing things other than Power Rangers such Kamen Rider. I am creating a Patreon page and if you guys want to support the blog and help make it better then pledge here . The Boom Studio comics have been a revelation for PR fans. There is so much hype and anticipation towards the Shattered Grid and it has delivered. The writers have done an excellent job of slowly introducing characters and fleshing them out. The comic begins with the rangers trying to deal with the death of Tommy. Jason for the first time seems rattled by this. I can feel his pain, losing a friend is never an easy thing to do. The other rangers are trying to move on but the constant reminders are taking a toll on them.  Lord Drakkon returns home to regroup before attacking again. the target seems to be the Samurai Rangers. Drakkon meets up with Finster 5 and the two embrace which was a shock to me. This Tommy did not seem to like anyone and this shows he has a human heart. The two discuss the possibility of getting new power for Drakkon and the process involved which can have severe effects on Drakkon.  The next act sees the Samurai Rangers at the Shiba House tr...

With Shattered Grid upon us, my excitement for this event is through the roof. The last MMPR comic and GGPR have wet my pallet and I want more!! Spoilers beyond this point The storyline will see Lord Drakkon try and destroy all the Rangers by targeting the Morphin Grid. I believe that achieve this easily. He has easily killed all the rangers in his timeline and has an army of sentries plus Rita will help him. My theory is that Rita and Drakkon will work together for a while until Rita betrays him because she was using him for his vast army. This will lead to Rita killing or trapping him forever. I just needed to talk about how Saba died fighting Drakkon. First he was stupid to go in alone. Drakkon is obviously above his league. He crushed Saba like a bug. I got chills when I saw this but its a teaser about the potential deaths coming our way. We will have to wait and see!!!

Its been a rollercoaster of emotions for PR who were wondering what would happen to our beloved toy line. I am happy to announce that Hasbro has acquired the rights for the toys. This is massive news for all of us. Hasbro has a track record of making excellent and show accurate toys such as the Transformers line. The deal will be in effect from 2019 and they will do all the toys for the new seasons plus all the nostalgia stuff. I am excited for this hope you guys are as well

Saban and Bandai have enjoyed a strong bond over the last couple of years. Bandai has been responsible for providing us with PR toys and collectables from the show. This split will adversely spoil the plans of such beloved items as the Legacy collection. Both companies had this to say: After a successful 25-year partnership building the iconic action franchise, Power Rangers, Saban Brands and Bandai have mutually agreed not to renew their global Power Rangers master toy license agreement, effective April 2019. Bandai will continue to support Power Rangers, including the 2018 commemoration of the Power Rangers 25th anniversary and the current season, Super Ninja Steel. In addition, Bandai, through its partnership with Toei Company Ltd., will continue to exploit toy rights for the Super Sentai series, which has enjoyed over 40 years of success, in Japan and select other Asian territories. The main reason I do not cover Ninja Steel is that the show is very behind in my region. We are still on season 1 of the show. Don't get me wrong I like the show. The most anticipated crossover event in the Boom universe, more details have come out concerning a new ranger! Ryan Parrot had this to say,"It’s a new Ranger with a familiar face…They will arrive in a way that allows for a very personal relationship with all of the Rangers. With the first eight issues of  Saban’s Go Go Power Rangers  I’ve been trying to do very small, character-based stories. Exciting news coming from Saban. They have announced the book Alien Encounters in Angel Grove which will feature all the monsters in the series with their biographies. This is a mist have for a person who grew up during the time of MMPR. The book will 224 pages, and is available in digital and paperback formats. One can pre-order the book here . I have exciting news concerning content on the blog. There are going to be exclusive post on the blog. The new exclusives are called The Round-up, Top 5 and Shattered Code.  The Round-up will have the latest news and my opinions on them. It will be posted weekly on Tuesday. Top 5 is posted every fortnight showcasing lists on different aspects of the PR lore. Shattered Code will focus on the comics and Legacy toys. I will be reviewing both of these and giving my thoughts on them. I am excited about the year and let's enjoy the Power Rangers shows, comics and other merch!!

With the imminent arrival of the Shattered Grid, Boom studios have started dropping more information about the event. The latest being the romoured debut of Finster Five who is Lord Drakkon right hand man. I am guessing he is the Finster of Drakkon's universe who was merged with Alpha after something happened to him. I can not wait to see him in all his glory. He is going to be a great addition to the cannon.

I am loving the comics so far. They offer a more serious and gritty look on the Power Rangers. The comics have done well to establish the rangers, villains and flesh out the side characters as well. The Shattered Grid will feature Lord Drakkon who is an evil version of Tommy Oliver. Drakkon will attack the Morphing Grid which will affect the timeline of universe. I love the fact that Boom is doing this. The TV shows have gotten bland and repetitive. The comics are aimed at the older fans of the series. Spoilers from this point !!!! I believe that Promethea will betray the rangers at some point. They are shady in how they operate and are not being honest with the rangers. Why would they keep Drakkon and not inform the rangers? What are their motives? These are some of the questions that will be answered in the series. The potential team up with different rangers is mouthwatering.
